More about us

About motivational interviewing

Motivational interviewing (MI) is a form of collaborative conversation for strengthening a person’s own motivation and commitment to change. It is a person-centered, evidence-based practice. Practitioners can create a culture of acceptance and compassion for clients, in which clients can work toward a goal by drawing on their own motivations in atmosphere of compassion and acceptance.

Evidence-Based Content

Our training methods rely on research into how people learn MI, and all our training content is evidence-based.

Personalized Curriculum

We work with you to provide training that’s relevant and meets your organization’s needs.

MINT Professional Trainers

With years of professional training experience, our trainers know what works. All our trainers are members of the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers (MINT).

Coaching By Example

We believe the most effective way to train is by example. We conduct our trainings in the spirit of partnership, acceptance, evocation and compassion embodied by MI itself.
